Refund policy
Thank you for choosing to shop with Jade Girl Boutique! We try our best to ensure quality customer care and an exceptional shopping experienced both in store and online!
We do NOT accept returns for refunds - however, we do give store credit and offer an exchange of sizes.
The ONLY occasion in which we will offer a refund is as follows:
- A customer orders an item online that is physically out of stock in store. We will contact you via phone or email and ask if you would like to ship the other items in the order, ask if you would like to replace the missing item with another, or if you would like to cancel the order all together before we collect the payment on our end.
- If UPS loses your package, we will contact their claims department and work to locate the package. If it is not found, we will refund your original form of payment.
If you are seeking to request to return an order, the following actions must occur:
If you purchase items online or as a gift for someone else, we offer a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request an exchange or store credit. We will base the 7 days by the arrival date of the shipment via postal service tracking number.

WE DO NOT OFFER RETURN LABELS. Here is why:
We offer so many items at a discounted price. We always have a sale collection active. We even offer using the code FREESHIP for orders $75+ online. We also do not mark up our items as high as other boutiques - not to undercut their business, but because our primary business is formalwear, the boutique is an in house addition we have solely for our customers to use the points earned from formalwear and get everyday items at low price. We keep our prices fair and honest, so a “price mark up buffer” to offer return labels & freebie gifts isn’t feasible due to the margin we try to keep our items priced within.
If you purchase items in store, we do not offer any sort of return or store credit as the opportunity to try on for fit, size, comfort, and color is given. If you purchase the item in store for a third party or if you buy a gift, the person who it was intended for has to initiate the return for the exchange or store credit.
To be eligible for an exchange or store credit, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
If an item or items are returned to JGB worn, damaged, or not in it’s original condition, the items will be returned at the customers expense and no exchange or store credit will be issued.
To start a return for an exchange or store credit, you can contact us at shopmckenziejades@gmail.com by putting put “Jade Girl Boutique Return” in the subject line. If your return is accepted, we will proceed by issuing the exchange or store credit, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted and we will not ship your items back on our expense.

Damages and issues
Our staff at JGBxMJ’s is extremely thorough in looking over your items before they are shipped to you! We aim to ensure customer satisfaction, which is why we look over each item to see if there are any stains inside or outside of the item, tears oil fabric, or anything else of the sort that would make you unhappy when receiving your order!
We will contact you if an item ordered is not up to par and ask if you would like us to have it dry cleaned or repaired on our expense before shipping. If you would like to cancel the item, you will have that option and right as a consumer. If you wish to take the item as is without us fixing it, we will issue an additional a store credit to you via email to use on a future purchase!!
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. ALL sale items are final. If a promo code was applied as a discount on the purchase, you will only be issued the amount paid and not the item’s original value.
*Sale items are categorized by markdowns. If there is a “compare at” price, that means the price you see listed is the sale price compared to its original price.*
Exchanges
The best way to discuss exchanges will be to email or call us about the issue of sizing. If you don’t love the way something from JGB fits, feels, or want a different size, contact us via shopmckenziejades@gmail.com and put “Jade Girl Boutique Exchange” in the subject line.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be issued a store credit gift card to be used towards a new purchase in the future!
